Coffee Cake Recipe Throw Down and Contest Entry

I am so psyched about this awesome giveaway Maman and Gourmand is sponsoring. It really brings out the foodie in me. :) So much, that I entered the Recipe Throw down for extra entries.
Carole Walter has even offered a cookbook for the giveaway. The cover itslef makes me want it.
Check out her site here. Carole Walter

Here is my recipe and picture for the entry. Confession....this is the first coffee cake I have ever made. The recipe is pretty good but I am sure I can do better next time I just have to tweak it a little more. Nonetheless, try it out and let me know what you think. Wish me luck on the entry too. WooHoo!
